Greater Philadelphia Expo Center, 100 Station

two benched, all-breed dog shows are held
this year on November 19 & 20 - including
The National Dog Show Presented by Purina,
which airs on NBC on Thanksgiving at noon.
Over 150 different breeds and varieties
compete for best of Breed, First in Group
and the coveted title of Best in Show. Each
day brings different competitions and attractions.
Saturday is The National Dog Show Presented
by Purina, taped for telecast nationwide
on Thanksgiving Day by NBC. It is the most

Cluster Dog Show
One of the oldest and most prestigious sporting
events in North America, Providence’s
Bay Colony Cluster Dog Show brings a 100-year
tradition to the Rhode Island Convention
Center this December. The Bay Colony Dog
Show is a four-day show, with each day is
hosted by three prestigious New England
American Kennel Club (AKC) organizations.
The Bay Colony Cluster Dog Show is a series
of shows presented by the Boston area's
finest AKC dog clubs: Eastern Dog Club,
Middlesex County Kennel Club and Ladies'
Dog Club. This event is supported generously
by Pedigree, these clubs work together to
produce one of the nation's biggest and
best dog events. The Rhode Island Convention
Center is located in downtown Providence
and is accessible from Boston by the commuter
rail and bus with a short walk over to the

The 2011 AKC/Eukanuba
National Championship
The
American Kennel Club® is pleased to
announce that the AKC/Eukanuba National
Championship will be returning to Orlando,
Florida following the 2010 AKC/Eukanuba
National Championship in Long Beach, California.
The 2011 show will take place December 17th
and 18th in Orlando. The event has previously
been hosted in Orlando, Tampa and Long Beach.
The 2011 show will be held at the new "state
of the art" Orange County Convention
Center, the second largest convention center
in the nation which is situated in the heart
of Orlando’s tourism district and
only 15 minutes away from the Orlando International
Airport. The 2011 event will continue to
showcase the top American dogs as well as
offer the popular Bred-by-Exhibitor competition,
AKC Meet the Breeds® and the Eukanuba
World Challenge. The AKC National Obedience
Invitational and AKC Agility Invitational
will be held in conjunction with the event.

The Florida Classic Cluster

the largest dog show cluster in the state
of Florida located in the beautiful Florida
Classic Park in Brooksville, FL. Enjoy a

The Westminster
Kennel Club 136th Annual Dog Show

Square Garden in New York City / The Westminster
Kennel Club was established in 1877, making
it America's oldest organization dedicated
to the sport of purebred dogs. First held
in 1877, the Westminster Kennel Club Dog
Show is America's second-longest continuously
held sporting event, behind only the Kentucky
Derby. Through the 2010 show, there have
been 1,673 judges who have officiated at
least once at Westminster, some as many
as 23 times, at Westminster. The first telecast
of Westminster was in 1948, three years
before "I Love Lucy" premiered.
In 2005, streaming video with same day coverage
of breed judging highlights was made available
for the first time on the Westminster web
site and it was an immediate and huge hit.
Tickets for the Westminster Kennel Club
136th Annual Dog Show go on sale in September.

International Cluster of Dog Shows
Chicago,
IL / One of the largest all-breed benched
dog shows in the country, the International
Cluster of Dog Shows attracts over 60,000
visitors to observe more than 10,000 purebred
dogs from 161 breeds demonstrate their skills
in a variety of competitions. Judged competitions
include conformation, agility and obedience;
the Best in Show Amateur-Owner-Handler Competition;
Junior Dog Judging, offered exclusively
at International Cluster of Dog Shows for
children ages 9 19; and the Puppy Spectacular,
which features the finest puppies aged 6
months to 12 months competing for "Best
Puppy In Show." Again this year, a
"Chicago-style" no-benches format
is to be used allowing guests to meet and

Show
The
annual Kentuckiana Cluster All Breed Dog
Show features numerous vendors showcasing
dog-related items while three different
kennel clubs host obedience and confirmation
shows. The Kentuckiana Cluster All Breed
Dog Show is hosted by the Mid-Kentucky Kennel
Club on Thursday, March 15, the Louisville
Kennel Club on Friday, March 16 and Sunday,
March 18 and the Evansville Kennel Club
on Saturday, March 17. This event is held
in conjunction with the 2012 Greater Louisville
Training Club American Kennel Club Agility
